Krusader - Video Thumbnails dont Generate on Plasma 6 - BUG:

BUG REPORT I SUBMITTED: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=483741
DATE BUG REPORT SUBMITTED: Saturday the 16th of March, 2024
TIME BUG REPORT SUBMITTED: 11.39 PM

After upgrading from plasma 5 to plasma 6, File Krusader no longer display video thumbnails .MP4, .MKV etc etc

The thumbnails of video file will display correctly on a Folder - but the actual video files themselves only display a generic icon

File Krusader Displays images/pictures with thumbnails just fine

Dolphin displays both images/pictures and video thumbnails just fine

I created a new user account to see if there was any differance - There was no differance

Tested Under:

File Krusader: Version 2.8.1 "A New Day"

DE: KDE Plasma 6.0.2 under Wayland
DE: KDE Plasma 6.0.2 under X11

Same results for both X11 and Wayland

NOTE: The app "XnView MP" also no longer displays vide thumbnails

You will need to install ffmpegthumbs-kf5 when it reaches Tumbleweed
