'shou;d - but that SR was accepted into snapshot 0408 and apparently we can run into a fail situation there

Oups - https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/4072458#step/reboot_icewm/8 that is actyally SDDM, not LightDM!

SDDM is also used by Plasma, so this is in fact the same bug
