Description Manfred Hollstein 2024-05-05 09:00:58 UTC
In the TW snapshot 20240503 there is the following shown:

> ==== gdk-pixbuf ====
> Version update (2.42.10 -> 2.42.11)
> Subpackages: gdk-pixbuf-lang gdk-pixbuf-query-loaders gdk-pixbuf-thumbnailer libgdk_pixbuf-2_0-0 typelib-1_0-GdkPixbuf-2_0
>
> - Update to version 2.42.11:
> + Disable fringe loaders by default.
>   + Introspection fixes.
>   + Updated translations.

With this update installed, gkrellm no longer starts because it makes use of .xpm files a lot which apparently have been disabled due to this change.

Are .xpm and .xbm files fringe?

I'd appreciate if they can be added to the default loaders again.

Patch to re-enable xpm and xbm formats again

I did not notice until today, but xsane is also broken.
