After update on 2024-05-20, on reboot the computer was in kernel lock down. How do I recover?

Could you reboot and boot into the snapshot that before update? After boot to the ready-only snapshot, do "snapper rollback" and "reboot", then the system rollback to the snapshot before update. Hope this works for you.
