When selsect open file and save file *.ts or *.qm mask file is bad:

can't reproduce.. works fine here. do you have KDE installed as well? KDE/Qt integration problem?

Yes, KDE/Qt integration problem. Temporary workaround: "QT_NO_KDE_INTEGRATION=1 linguist"

Qt bug, more or less, added a workaround in the code.
