## Observation

0| 2024-06-01 14:46:07 <1> susetest(31747) [zypp::solver] SATResolver.cc(problems):1378 nothing provides 'glibc-locale-base-32bit' needed by the to be installed steam-1.0.0.79-1.4.x86_64

'glibc-locale-base-32bit has been merged into glibc-32bit. The obsoleted tag has been set, but not the provides one, which in turn results in this error.

Uninstalled it because I prefer to update via no GUI and was the most convenient to do for pulling the distro upgrade. People from reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/openSUSE/comments/1d7sdgt/tw_update_to_20240531_i_unistalled_steam_whats/) suggest installing it choosing the break option, although it does not sounds like an optimal solution its the way for the moment, willing to know more about the upcoming patch.

Problem: 1: nothing provides 'glibc-locale-base-32bit' needed by the to be installed steam-1.0.0.79-1.4.x86_64
 Solution 1: do not install steam-1.0.0.79-1.4.x86_64
 Solution 2: break steam-1.0.0.79-1.4.x86_64 by ignoring some of its dependencies

Choose from above solutions by number or cancel [1/2/c/d/?] (c):2

For those of you stuck without steam because because of the missing glibc-locale-base-32bit dependency, you can try side-loading the package from here https://software.opensuse.org/package/glibc-locale-base-32bit?locale=en. I already have an older version of glibc-locale-base-32bit installed, so I haven't tried it myself. Also, has anyone tried using Steam without glibc-locale-base-32bit? Are there any bugs/does everything work as expected? I'm personally just staying on an older version for now.
