Bluetooth not enabled after KDE Plasma 6 login - unexpected NULL in bluetooth.service

Beginning with an upgrade to Plasma 6, Bluetooth comes up disabled the vast majority of the time after login. Unknown as to the cause. The Bluetooth dongle has a blue light on it that will come on during the login process, then goes out after one second. When the desktop appears, Bluetooth is disabled. In attempting to remedy this issue, it was said that the problem is likely in bluez, which would be upstream.
