Description User1 User1 2024-06-15 10:38:28 UTC
Currently, Tesseract is being built from outdated source code from early 2018.

From looking at one the tesseract package revisions, it seems the reason it uses an outdated source code is because upstream didn't provide a secure download location of the source code, at least back then.

But now it does provide one: https://mappinghell.net/tesseract/ . The link to this site is posted on the official Tesseract website (tesseract.gg).

Please update the tesseract package to be built from the latest source code.

I've tried your new build. Works great, thanks!
