Description Nikolai Nikolaevskii 2024-06-17 17:37:22 UTC
Leap 15.6 was released on 12 June 2024: https://news.opensuse.org/2024/06/12/leap-unveils-choices-for-users/.

Mesa 24.1.1 is available:
https://docs.mesa3d.org/relnotes/24.1.1.html
and
https://software.opensuse.org/package/Mesa.

Mesa's 24.1.1 Rusticl OpenCL driver from repo X11:XOrg is available for Tumbleweed and Factory:
https://software.opensuse.org/package/Mesa-libRusticlOpenCL
https://software.opensuse.org/download/package?package=Mesa-libRusticlOpenCL&project=X11%3AXOrg

Available Rusticl OpenCL driver for Leap 15.6 is only v. 24.0.3: https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/X11:/XOrg/openSUSE_Leap_15.6/x86_64/Mesa-libRusticlOpenCL-debuginfo-24.0.3-lp156.1561.1.x86_64.rpm

ILL build system has stopped creating new packages for Leap 15.6 - see bug boo#1219355.

Related bugs in the past: boo#1218389, boo#1219355.

As usual Mesa was still building against Leap 15.5/15.6, but -drivers not. I've now wiped all Mesa RPMs from the 15.5/`5.6 repositories. You need to go back to 15.6 Mesa/Mesa-drivers packages. Sorry.

I should really give up on trying to get packages in X11:XOrg building against Leap. It's just not doable.
