Description John Shand 2024-06-26 00:32:37 UTC
When trying to install Steam, i got the error that mesa-dri-32bit was missing from repo and hence wouldn't install.

during update i had to uninstall steam to update to current.

On top of that, it leads to partial Mesa updates because some packages get upgraded to 24.1.2 and others to 24.1.1, leading to a broken graphical system.

I don't have the log entries at hand, but the situation is fixed with

$ zypper rm steam
$ zypper dup
$ systemctl reboot

Seems to work fine after today's update.
