kcalc isn't particularly better or worse than before.

But you can install and use kalk instead.

Based on your comment anyone can only assume that you have never used KCalc.

How does your comment relate to this bug report?

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=489027 is the upstream one.

Meanwhile you can install kalk and use it.
