Bugzilla – Bug 1227450
15.5 images are missing procps
Last modified: 2024-07-15 13:04:48 UTC
For some reason the image fails to build now because "pgrep" is missing, which is needed indirectly: [ 419s] dracut: dracut module 'network-legacy' will not be installed, because command 'pgrep' could not be found! [ 419s] dracut: 62bluetooth: Could not find any command of '/usr/lib/bluetooth/bluetoothd /usr/libexec/bluetooth/bluetoothd'! [ 419s] dracut: dracut module 'dmraid' will not be installed, because command 'dmraid' could not be found! [ 419s] dracut: dracut module 'network-legacy' will not be installed, because command 'pgrep' could not be found! [ 419s] dracut: dracut module 'network' depends on 'network-legacy', which can't be installed [ 419s] dracut: dracut module 'kiwi-dump' depends on 'network', which can't be installed I don't know which change causes this, but the easiest fix is probably to just add it to the image?
GNOME-Live fails openQA because the tests assume that procps is installed. It should probably be added to some of the patterns? > I don't know which change causes this zypper actually, the Requires: procps was dropped some time ago.
(In reply to Fabian Vogt from comment #1) > It should probably be added to some of the patterns? SLE has it as part of patterns-base-minimal_base, but not Leap which for some reason uses a much newer branch of patterns-base from TW. I made MRs to add it to patterns-base-base: https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/1186111 https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/1186112
