Bugzilla – Bug 1228361
Update /etc/os-release to use "Aeon" name rather than "openSUSE Aeon"
Last modified: 2024-07-26 15:26:04 UTC
To distance from openSUSE branding, the NAME, ID, and PRETTY_NAME should remove the openSUSE parts. For refernce, this is the current /etc/os-release NAME="openSUSE Aeon" # VERSION="20240724" ID="opensuse-aeon" ID_LIKE="suse opensuse opensuse-tumbleweed opensuse-microos microos" VERSION_ID="20240724" PRETTY_NAME="openSUSE Aeon" ANSI_COLOR="0;32" CPE_NAME="cpe:/o:opensuse:aeon:20240724" BUG_REPORT_URL="https://bugzilla.opensuse.org" SUPPORT_URL="https://bugs.opensuse.org" HOME_URL="https://www.aeondesktop.org/" DOCUMENTATION_URL="https://en.opensuse.org/Portal:Aeon" LOGO="distributor-logo-Aeon"
👍 agreed
Must be done before release
