Description Matthias Hopf 2005-10-18 16:45:57 UTC
I have a pdf here that has font rendering issues (e.g. in 'Mat' the 'a' is
rendered too far to the right) with xpdf, kpdf, and ghostscript.

When the pdf is converted by pdf2ps (ghostscript), the same issues pop up in the
postscript file.
When the pdf is converted by pdftops (xpdf), it looks perfectly allright, in
ghostscript as well as on a HP printer.

File upon request, or I attach one if find one with less personal contents.

The file looks much better now (RC1), though some spacing problems persist. I assume there are some rounding issues, as gv and xpdf/kpdf have different issues.

I consider this 'good enough' and closed as FIXED.
