With my existing user account, Firefox does not work after upgrading from 
Alpha 1 to Alpha 2: I get a window saying:

It's no guaranteed feature that upgrades from alpha snapshots to other alpha snapshots work ;-)
Please check if Firefox works if you remove the package via rpm -e, delete all
stuff in /opt/MozillaFirefox and install the alpha2 package again.
