I cannot select package "MozillaFirefox-translations" from DVD, because it needs  
MozillaFirefox-1.6 (RPM-Requires:), but we distribute MozillaFirefox-1.7  
  
I suggest to work on a online update.

We ship 1.0.6 on DVD and the corresponding translations package.
If you have 1.0.7 you did an online update already. That simply is a long standing design bug of YaST2. You can't install the GA version and you haven't an option to install the one provided by the online-update.
