How to reproduce:
1. Run evolution in Monday
2. Use desktop for whole week without reboot.
3. Reboot in Monday
4. Appointments for last Thursday are displayed in Monday after reboot.

There is no evidence, when evolution-alarm-notify terminated. Maybe it is
related with bug 117813.

Does not happen in more current SuSE versions.
