Description Daniel Mandler 2005-10-24 11:01:21 UTC
the input channels are not shown at kmixer and mic-channel is muted by default
so that it's not possible to use audigy or skype. alsamixer at konsole shows
that channels, but after a alsa-restart the setting are gone. must use alsactl
store to fix the issue... i am using an audigy 2 value...

Please have a look at
http://www.opensuse.org/Submit_a_bug#Reporting_a_Bug

All SUSE Linux OSS bugs should go into the product SUSE LINUX 10.0 or
newer, because SUSE Linux is based on the SUSE Linux OSS code base.
Always choose the right product when reporting a bug

Make sure that you have /etc/sysconfig/hardware/hwcfg-* file containing your sound module. If not, try to reconfigure the sound device via yast again.
Start yast, remove the existing sound device, and quit once. Then restart yast and configure the sound device again.
