Description Brett Dehart 2005-10-24 14:55:06 UTC
If an ipod is mounted when banshee is launched, it will fail and close. If an
ipod is plugged in while banshee is loaded, it will close.

How do you attach it? Firewire or USB?
Also, please create some sort of a backtrace of the crash! (use gdb or ltrace/strace), 100 lines of your syslog in /var/log/messages will also be helpful.

You might start banshee from a console like:
$ ltrace banshee 2> ltrace.out

Then you let it crash and attach ltrace.out here. Thanks.
