Description Jan Karjalainen 2005-10-27 09:01:45 UTC
In SUSE 9.3 there was an option to add a custom resolution in SaX2, which was very useful. Somehow it disappeared from SUSE 10.0...
Editing xorg.conf is not something you would want to advise a new linux customer.
Comment 1 Marcus Schaefer 2005-10-27 10:46:08 UTC
I'm sorry but my experience about the custom resolution was less
than 1% of all customer ever used it. Therefore this one has been
removed to remove complexity from the user.

If you have a Standard resolution which is not part of the list please
tell me I will include it

The reolutions I need are 1280x768 and 1366x768, for a projector and a LCD TV.
They are for using my Linux box as a HTPC.

- 1280x768 is already part of the list:

  1280x768=1280x768 (WXGA)

- 1366x768 *huh* never heard of that resolution :) It's for a LCD TV
  you said, ok I added that one as:
