Description Andreas Klein 2005-10-28 19:32:29 UTC
The sound on Fujutsu-Siemens Esprimo P5600 SIS 761 is not found.
The mainboard is a FuSi D2030 with a Realtek ALC655 in a SIS965L chip.

What do you mean "not found"? The device SIS7012 is supported, at least, in some level.

There is something wrong with ACPI interrupts.
Could you try to boot with pci=noacpi or acpi=off boot option?
Comment 5 Andreas Klein 2005-11-18 21:21:13 UTC
pci=noacpi doesn't help.
Setting acpi=off, the machine doesn't boot.

Any changes with 10.1b1 or KOTD kernel?
Comment 7 Andreas Vetter 2006-01-23 18:10:19 UTC
in 10.1b1 sound works in principle, but:
sound comes from the internal speaker, not from stereo speakers connected to the rear green audio jack.
i could not change that in yast2/hardware/sound/volume
with kamix, i could not change this, too.
in kmix, one has to open the tab "switches" to change things:
enable "duplicate front" to enable the rear green audio jack.
change the setting "Mono output select" from "mix" to "mic" to mute the speaker.

Do you need yast logs?
Comment 8 Takashi Iwai 2006-01-25 15:50:22 UTC
No, attach /etc/asound.state and /proc/asound/card0/codec97#0/* files instead.
