Description Raymond Wooninck 2005-10-30 11:15:59 UTC
Hi, I just tried to perform a upgrade to 10.1 Alpha 2 (this because of the Beta 2 of KDE 3.5). However during the upgrade I got errors regarding missing files. The most important was the X.org rpm's, because now KDE 3.5 is complaining that it can't find the libXau.so.6 file.

The previous version of X.org (Alpha 1) did not contain hte libXau.so.6, but only the libXau.a file. So I guess this is an important upgrade of X.org.

Is there any other place where I can find the new rpm's for X.org that is fully compatible with Alpha 2 ?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Raymond

libXau.so.6 is in xorg-x11-libs. I cannot reproduce this problem.
