Comment 1 Hubert Mantel 2005-10-31 13:33:31 UTC
Problem here is that customer is booting from an external USB drive. Don't know whether this configuration is explicitly supported. In any case, it is not a kernel bug.
Comment 2 Steffen Winterfeldt 2005-11-15 13:42:31 UTC
It's a LiveCD setup thing.
Comment 3 Torsten Duwe 2005-11-15 14:04:42 UTC
True, and support for USB drives didn't make it into 10.0
Comment 4 Stephan Kulow 2008-06-25 09:33:57 UTC
mass reopening all SuSE Linux bugs that are set to REMIND+LATER to change the resolution to WONTFIX (adapting to new policy)

Closing old LATER+REMIND bugs as WONTFIX - if you still plan to work on it, feel free to reopen and set to ASSIGNED.

In case the report saw repeated reopen comments, it's due to bugzilla timing out on the huge request ;(
