gcc-4.0.2_20050901-3

Compile of program results in: 

mgr_main.c: In function ‘scan_modifiers’:
mgr_main.c:673: internal compiler error: Segmentation fault

Works with gcc41-4.1.2_20061115-5 (on the 10.2) --> FIXED.
