Description Harald Flatscher 2005-11-01 08:03:52 UTC
When I choose installation of SUSE the loading process of the Kernel used for installation fails even if I choose the safe kernel settings.

Used Hardware:
  MSI ms-7058 Motherboard
  Intel 915G chipset
  Intel ICH6
  VIA6410 Raid controller

The problem appeared the first time when trying to isntall SUSE 9.3 from a
Live CD
It now also appeares when trying to install SUSE 10.0 from the downloadable
ISO images (version 10.0 stable released)

The newest BIOS update (v 1.80) solved the problem
