Description Peter Flodin 2005-11-05 12:24:37 UTC
There is something screwy with the resized image generation on the wiki.

This is exemplified on the page http://www.opensuse.org/Special:Newimages

Where all recent images that would need a resized thumbnail to display are missing.

It can also be tested inserting any image at a reduced size

eg: [[Image:Novell.png|37px]]
Now one would expect some delay, but the reduced image never appears.

This issue is more than just thumbnail generation, and seems to be a general image issue. As noted here, by others: http://www.opensuse.org/Image_talk:Firefox.jpg

This is a really annoying bug. It appears even when I am not using thumbnails or resized image.

When I uploaded the images, they were visible at both the places. But now they are missing from both the places.

Working on upgrading to Mediawiki 1.5 in the next week or so which should resolve this issue.

hmm everything seems fine to me now... do you still see this issue?
