when creating appointments on a calendar on an exchange server, then alarm-popups doesn't show up.
when creating a appointment on the local calendar, or changing the appointment from calendar on an exchange server to local calendar it works.

Which version of Evolution you are using?
With 2.6.1 and it is working fine.
There was a issue, which has been fixed now.
