When stopped via the red stop button that's part of the custom sound recorder GUI (not the window manager's close button), the KDE desktop reports a segfault after the window is closed.
Stopping the application through the window manager's close button causes no such problem.

ok, fixed for STABLE. 

AJ: backport to 10.0 ? its in the default selection.
