Description Cristian Rodríguez 2005-11-07 19:24:19 UTC
How to reproduce:

install kvim

this not working :

nothing works, window shrinks to very small size, it doesn't open any file, and
doesn't have correct UTF-8 support (tested in spanish )
also it's using 50% CPU Time.
Comment 1 Cristian Rodríguez 2005-11-07 19:41:40 UTC

Comment 2 Cristian Rodríguez 2005-12-10 22:28:42 UTC
"Kvim is now unmantanied" so.. maybe SUSE shoudl remove the packaga , and replace it by " Yzis"

Comment 3 Cristian Rodríguez 2006-01-21 18:21:31 UTC
any possibility of replace this unmantained package for a mantained equivalent like Yzis???
Comment 4 Dirk Mueller 2006-01-23 13:21:14 UTC
yzis is equally unmaintained, just a little bit younger. I've added an yzis package now, but I guess kvim won't be fixed soon (and yzis missed the feature deadline).

Comment 5 Stephan Kulow 2006-02-01 16:30:20 UTC
we won't drop kvim as there some people liking it still. But we won't maintain it either - as soon as an alternative appears (vim is supposed to have KDE support somewhen) we will drop kvim
