Description Dirk Mueller 2005-11-14 22:20:48 UTC
Hi,

since the kernel 2.6.14.2 update in 10.1 the madwifi support seems to be broken. ath_pci and ath_hal load without errors and find the hardware, but for some reason I don't get a ath0 device, but a wifi0 device which doesn't provide any wireless extensions (so iwconfig etc does not work) and plain doesn't seem to work at all. not even the hardware "busy" led is blinking anymore.
