The driver don´t get loaded-i have to do each time a modprobe snd-ice1712 for the sound to work.In the yast module i see two cards-1.Sound card with driver snd-ice1712,but ins´t loaded-2.terratec96/24,ok.First card is not to configure nor to erase-second the same,failure:snd-ice1712 cannot be loaded.
So-- an entry in modprobe.conf.local (install snd-ice1712 /sbin/modprobe snd-ice1712)installs the driver with error messages from modprobe,but the driver gets installed-BUT-System crashes when calling amarok-amarok failure-xine-engine can´n load driver(but is loaded)-nearly 100%cpuload-FREEZING.
With a modprobe snd-ice1712 after booting all works normal

I don't know if this is alsa related or yast2-sound related but I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the component autoyast.

Norbert, I need more information - Did you do an update or full installation? Please, attach y2logs and 'hwinfo --sound' output.
