Description Bart Whiteley 2005-11-16 21:32:51 UTC
Even if I get the settings correct, The "test now" link during installation just turns off my display. I saw this on three boxes -- all with ATI hardware. After the install I'm able to get X configured and working with SaX2.

Bart, is this the same system as in bug #132983 ?
Comment 2 Bart Whiteley 2005-11-17 12:43:26 UTC
That is one of the systems, but I also saw it with two others.
The mice worked during the installs of 2 of the three systems.
All systems the had the problem are ATI. On an NVidia box the
"test now"feature worked during install.

Did you activate the second output connector ? During installation
if done on a laptop the secondary vga is enabled by default. It may
happen that with activated framebuffer (installation X-Server) a
testserver might fail.
