During boot powersave exits immediately after being started. The following line appears in /var/log/messages:

[powersave]: ERROR (main:421) Connection to hal could not be established, exiting...

That's because hal is not yet ready and so the powersave daemon is shut down. I have to try to connect later...

I already fixed it in cvs.
