Description Klaus-J. Wolf 2005-11-19 21:37:45 UTC
qt3-3.3.4-28 (and development packages) is installed.
When linking a qt program, ld gives the error message:
/usr/lib/qt3/lib64/libqt.a(malloc.o): In function `init_malloc_type':
: undefined reference to `qstrcmp'

The function is also referenced by different other qt libraries but apparently, there is no qstrcmp, nowhere.
Comment 1 Dirk Mueller 2005-11-21 16:13:26 UTC
do you intentionally try to static link?
Comment 2 Dirk Mueller 2005-11-22 00:36:29 UTC
caused by suse patch.. testing fix
Comment 3 Dirk Mueller 2005-11-23 09:22:34 UTC
AJ: 10.0 update for basically unusable qt3-static rpm (suse patch using undefined symbol) ?
