Description David Binderman 2005-11-23 09:47:02 UTC
I just tried to compile package util-linux-crypto-2.12a-3 with the GNU C compiler.

It said

dmconvert.c:128: warning: "in_progress" is used uninitialized in this function

The source code is

        if (in_progress) {

Suggest initialise local variable "in_progress" before first use.

I tried to email the maintainer [ christophe@saout.de ] but he
refused the bug report claiming he is not the maintainer.
It also appears that the email address Suse has for the author
[ christophe@saout.de ]

this is already fixed in 10.1
