Description Dennis Lubert 2005-11-23 20:58:41 UTC
Hi,

the version of flex shipped with suse is base on the one from 1997 and is very outdated. On http://lex.sourceforge.net/ there is a more recent version which is already used at several other places. So it maybe should be considered to upgrade.
Comment 1 Michal Marek 2005-11-24 11:28:21 UTC
We are already working on a version update and will hopefully include
flex-2.5.31 in the next release.
Comment 2 Michal Marek 2005-12-22 13:40:42 UTC
flex-2.5.31 RPMS are in Factory.
Comment 3 Andreas Hanke 2006-02-22 01:32:56 UTC
For information: upstream location has changed again, it's at http://flex.sourceforge.net/ now - version 2.5.33 was released there yesterday which might make some of the current patches obsolete.
