I run ktorrent in current version. After some hours ktorrent hangs up and need more than 167MB (RSS, 224MB VSZ). If ktorrent is in background it need 96% of CPU if you try to bring back to top of desktop and hangs up. No reaction if start strace, only way: kill -TERM PID.

I currently build a new package from KDE SVN HEAD to try to reproduce. The current package is from: Thu Oct 13 14:03:55 CEST 2005

Did you experience an amelioration with ktorrent SVN trunk?

Yes, works with SVN. I already asked Dirk Mueller if I could/should commit a new package to STABLE, but I got no response. If you say it would o.k., I would commit one with a additonal patch from me.

Updated code to KTorrent 1.2rc1.
