Description Forgotten User OS1JNCFbCX 2005-11-26 20:04:14 UTC
It seems something is broken with the delta generation process in drpmsync. This has broken the patch chain of many packages between 12-Nov-2005 and 16-Nov-2005 resulting in the need to reload almost all packages completely.

For example look at the deltas for evolution-devel.i586. We have the following broken chain:

04-Nov --> 07-Nov --> 10-Nov --> 12-Nov  |  16-Nov --> 18-Nov --> 25-Nov

The patch from 16-Nov is based on a mysterious package that cannot be created by any other patch.

We had to reinstall our deltarpm generation host due to hardware problems.
I copied the opensuse deltas back but it seems like the chain was broken nevertheless. Sorry for the inconvenience, it's not a software problem but defective hardware.
