During the boot phase the D-Bus daemon complains about an unknown user "named" in the dhcdbd configuration file.

From /var/log/boot.msg:

argh ... how did I become maintainer of that package ... ?
we probably do not want to (pre)req "bind", so we will have to
add the user ourselves if it does not exist ...
Comment 4 Ruediger Oertel 2005-12-09 12:06:55 UTC
changed maintainer of "dhcdbd" to rml, it's really his package.
I only created the PDB entries because they were missing during
first submission of the package.
Comment 5 Ruediger Oertel 2005-12-09 12:12:28 UTC
ok, mbuild running for fixed package, will submit if that succeeds.
Comment 6 Robert Love 2005-12-09 19:08:04 UTC
We just need to remove /usr/share/dbus-1/services/dhcdbd.service from the dhcdbd package. We don't use it, anyhow (we start dhcdbd via NM and not via DBUS activation).

ro: Are you submitting a package? If not, I will, today.
Comment 7 Ruediger Oertel 2005-12-12 13:52:36 UTC
please go ahead, there is not too much sense if I try to play proxy
for submitting packages (which will just add more latency ... ;)
Comment 8 Robert Love 2005-12-12 15:23:32 UTC
Fixed and submitted to autobuild.
