Bugzilla – Bug 137002
[patch] upgrade to t1lib 5.1.0
Last modified: 2007-01-17 03:52:08 UTC
t1lib shipped is somewhat old, and is needed to compile php-gd --with-t1lib support patch attached ;-) source available ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/libs/graphics/t1lib-5.1.0.tar.gz
Created attachment 59863 [details] updated spec file and the required patch hope it helps...
Reassigning it to the maintainer. Mike: Please look into this.
The problem is that some other libraries, for example VFlib3 still depend on the older version of t1lib. I have to make sure not to break these libraries, therefore an update is not that easy. But I will try to do it.
if Debian can, Im sure you can ;-) http://packages.debian.org/unstable/libs/vflib3

mfabian : Any news about this ?
After 10.1.
I have changed the product for 10.2, mfabian, this update is needed for a PHP feature.
I ahve created a new build of this package in the buildservice proyect home:elvigia that contains the new library + the needed patches. hope this gets into 10.3, after more than a year...
Updates for t1lib to 5.1.0, VFlib3 to 3.6.14, and TeX-Guy to 1.3.1 submitted to STABLE and to the openSUSE build service. Closing as FIXED.
