Bugzilla – Bug 137677
hulaimap segfaults regularly on Ubuntu amd64
Last modified: 2007-07-25 12:53:23 UTC
On a fairly regular basis (about once a day, it seems) hulaimap segfaults and dies. I can't seem to find a core dump anywhere, but this is in /var/log/messages: hulaimap[1843]: segfault at 00000002008ae310 rip 000000000041030e rsp 00000000400709f0 error 4 I'm running Ubuntu Breezy on a dual opteron with a stock 2.6.12-10-amd64-k8-smp kernel. Hula is the unoffical packages from http://www.alcoholicsunanimous.com/hula/, built myself for amd64. That package reports itself as "0.1.0+svn789-1" so I assume that Hula is from SVN r789.
ia64 is Itanium, not Opteron. Fixing "Hardware" fiel.d
i used the ones from here http://www.alcoholicsunanimous.com/hula/debs-bleed/ in a single amd64 3000+ and run perfectly in debian testing.
Novell has stopped all work on the Hula project when the codebase and project were sold to Messaging Architects. http://www.hula-project.org/
Novell sold the Hula project to Messaging Architects and is no longer working on this project. http://www.hula-project.org/ Messaging Architects or the Bongo Project or should be able to export all these bugs as CSV should it want to import them.
