Bugzilla – Bug 138224
USB mouse is not detected by the installation
Last modified: 2005-12-14 14:00:27 UTC
The mouse vendor is Microsoft and the model is Wheel Mouse Optical 1.1A, connected using USB. The mouse isn't detected by the installation, so it's not working when installing and after that.
Hello It is possible to install without mouse (or select it manually later). Please do so and send the output of `hwinfo --mouse'. You can also use hwinfo during the installation on a shell and store the output on a floppy... also ensure that the USB-HID devices are activated in your BIOS.
The mouse works well with older version or ther distributions, so it's not problem with the BIOS configuration.
