The binary to grow mounted ext3 filesystems is missing. The SUSE 10.0 kernel seems  to be ready for this feature, because extracting / using only this binary from the FC4 package of e2fsprogs is working without any problem.

well thats from ext2resize and not from e2fsprogs. So please file a entry into the  wishlist on openSUSE.org for the package ext2resize...
