Description Ladislav Slezák 2005-12-16 08:51:34 UTC
In Alpha4 I get an error message saying that automatic installation cannot be started. In Alpha3plus it works without any problem.

The kernel command line contains install=ftp://full.server.name/... option.

The second attempt in Alpha4 works. I closeed the error message and restarted the installation with the same settings - I just pressed [OK] buttons. That's weird.

I'll attach logs.

Comment 5 Steffen Winterfeldt 2006-01-11 14:54:31 UTC
fixed in linuxrc 2.0.8 (*NOT* in sles10 pre-4)
Comment 6 Erik Jacobson 2006-01-13 15:27:15 UTC
Confirming comment #5 that this isn't fixed in preview4.
However, after I got kicked in to linuxrc, I kept the same values for
host name and path, and it fired off. FYI.
