the installation system only detects an existing partition that is of type LVM, but does not detect the volume group and the volumes in there.

after a manual vgscan && vgchange -a y , the volumes appear (in my case in /dev/system), but yast does not detect them although it did the check of the system again.

I did not select update but installation, but I guess this would be the same in the update process.
