Description Dirk Stoecker 2005-12-22 16:59:36 UTC
This is a bug from KDE bug tracker, which is told to be a SuSE kernel problem.
At least till now no kernel update of YOU fixed this.

See https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=118436

Quoted text:
The problem appear to me so far in Kile, Kdevelop, Quanta, Kate and Kwrite. Whenever I open a file in any of these applications, if I leave the application opened for a few minutes (the number of minutes varies), it will say that the file was changed on disk, although that is not true.
[...]
I'm afraid this is a bug in the SUSE 10.0 kernel. It triggers change events too often.
