This new "managed y network manager" is the default in YaST2.
But it doesn´t setup the cards, when I use it with my integrated VIA ethernet card (which works fine with DHCP manual configuration) the Internet test always fails.

The internet test failure is a duplicate of bug 138507. If there are other problems, please file another bug (with logs: http://www.opensuse.org/Bug_Reporting_FAQ#YaST).

NetworkManager itself does not need the ifcfg files. (but we are considering adding them anyway because of firewalling)
