Description Uwe Gottschling 2005-12-29 18:45:09 UTC
If i write a file to a floppy driver or a USB stick it is very slow (15 minutes for writing a 1MB file to disk). I have these issue on two different computers.
I use a AMD Athlon 2000 with a A7N8X-E Motherboard. In my company i use a TOSHIBA Intel celeron 400MHz computer.

Please read the Release Notes!

In short: The problem is caused by the "sync" mount.

BTW: The Release Notes contain a way to speed up writing, so you should really read them ;-)
