Description Forgotten User ZhJd0F0L3x 2006-01-04 21:27:49 UTC
When selecting "K" => "logout", just nothing happens.

I think it works as root user but not with my old .kde/ i used since 9.2

What's your setup in KControl->KDE components->Session manager? Is it starting with empty session?
Comment 2 Forgotten User ZhJd0F0L3x 2006-01-05 14:35:13 UTC
Yes.
Comment 3 Lubos Lunak 2006-01-05 15:38:05 UTC
Already fixed. Since you don't use session saving, I guess Ctrl+Alt+Backspace will do just fine for you for the time being.

Actually, given the duplicates, the workaround is only to use either session saving at logout, or switch to using a manually saved session and save an empty session in the K-Menu.

although i believe you that these are duplicates, i do not understand what the autostart folder has to do with logout or session saving. Is Autostart no longer supported?
Comment 8 Lubos Lunak 2006-01-05 16:58:40 UTC
It is. With empty default session KDE startup got stuck in the middle because of a bug.
