Description W Agtail 2006-01-06 17:22:06 UTC
I ran through a manual install of SUSE-10.1-CD-OSS-i386-Alpha4 and was then hoping to re-install, hands-free by supplying a autoyast.xml file.

I created the xml file from (someting like) autoyast => tools => create profile from this system => saved file to autoyast.xml.

When re-installing with this autoyast.xml file, the install procedure failed to create the disk partitions correctly.

My partition info is as follows:
2 x IDE HHDs (hda & hdc)
md0 = swap
md1 = /boot
md2 = /
md3 = LVM on RAID
LVMvol group = sys
LVMvols = other file systems such as /usr, /var etc

Could this be fixed to correctly identify disk partitions and LVM volumes?

Mnay thanks, regards W Agtail
